If you're like me, you've always used a bucket, milk crate, game vest, or any means necessary to get all those dove poppers from the field to your grill. For those of you who like to hunt doves and pigeons, this is a product you never knew you needed, the Dove Strap.
While dove hunting with Mr. Eric Hicks, over his sunflower plots and Boykin Spaniels, straps similar to these hung from the gun stands. I had seen straps like these for waterfowl, but not downsized for small game birds, like dove and pigeon. At first, I was skeptical of their practicality, but by the end of the hunt I had to have some of my own.
The end result is a combination of leather and steel, 100% handmade in Pennsylvania and available in 2 styles, a single or double drop (Each drop will hold 15 dove or pigeon with room to spare). Built one at a time using leather, steel rivets, heavy duty D-rings, and welded 5/32" steel wire, this strap is built to last.
